When anyone can generate an interface in seconds, the work shifts from execution to judgment – knowing what to build, what to remove, the ability to hold a product together when everything is moving. Taste, craft.

I started in editorial & branding – books, type, physical things. While running my own design practice globally, I cofounded an education platform where I owned everything: brand, product, marketing, community, educational programs, moderation. That taught me what full ownership actually means. The move to product design was driven by the same thing – instinct to build.

The role I care about is the one at the intersection: designer who thinks like a builder, a builder who thinks like a user. Taking ownership of the product from the first question to the last pixel.
